I don't like Hayden either. Everything about her annoys me! Masi, Milo & Sendhil are the only reasons I watch :) Plus I've been fascinated with superheroes since I was a child.

Eureka's about a US Marshall, Jack Carter who is assigned to be sheriff in a "secret" town full of geniuses. Seriously, the place is full of Einstein, Newton and similar geniuses' children, grandchildren, etc. It pretty funny because the sheriff is very silly & childish and he has to deal with great scientific catastrophes on a daily basis. One of the best characters is Henry, the town ... everything really. He even has a velcro name tag because he is constantly going from one profession to another based on what's needed. I have the 2nd episode on my computer if you want me to upload it (everything from the pilot is explained in the "previously" segment at the beginning). I personally liked the second episode more than the pilot because the story finally got going.

I actually did watch "Finding Judas" and "Merry Little Christmas" too. And Wilson and Chase just could not salvage the viewing experience.

Lost is going so far downhill that I'm afraid it may never be good again. I've been a Skate fan since the beginning but now I don't even care anymore. I may tune in when it returns ... or not.

:D Me too! She bugs me something severe as in I totally want to reach into the screen and strangle her. Every character she has ever played (minus Remember the Titans) has annoyed me and I'm not a fan of the young hollywood crowd that hang with Paris Hilton - which she is part of.

Have you seen the GG photos of Masi, Milo & Sendhil? They're up on WireImage!

Yup I'm totally in love with Super Heroes too. Like I said I actually had my own little concept for a TV show where it was like XMen minus the whole Mutant issue, and that they'd all come together and they'd look like every day average humans but nobody would really know (kinda like Buffy - it wasn't common knowledge that the supernatural world existed) and what comes along? Heroes. I was actually really miffed and very jealous but there's no way I could have produced an awesome character like Hiro and the small screen had been begging for a show just like it. I love super powers, I want super powers!

Eureka actually sounds like something I'd be interested in. But my computer isn't equipped for downloads (I'm getting a better connection in the next few months and possibly a brand new computer). For now I'll just have my fingers crossed it makes it over to Australia.

It's so sad. House is a great show - acting, writing, diecting etc but it's just dropped the ball and so many people have left it. House has become too nasty and the Tritter plot was horrid. I'm hoping it picks back up again though, it just has to!

And speaking of shows losing it, Lost's decline is depressing as well. They've kinda screwed Kate & Sawyer individually and in result the Skate thing was kind of off. Most characters are 'off' one way or another. They need to go back to basics.

Ok and SPN, I finally received my disks of the second season and I'm up to ep 6 I think (just saw the one where that old serial killer was grabbing young blondes and they had the reveal about John & Ellen's Ex.) What is the general feeling of the show this season? I still love it (how can I not?) but I miss just the regular comraderie of the brothers. Yes it had one of the smallest casts on TV but it was unique, I loved that it was just them and sometimes John. It emphasized their bond, gave them a huge load of screentime (there's nothing worse then when your faves are absent due to a large cast) and the various freaks & victims of the week added something to the mix. I really don't think we needed a bunch of new perm characters like Ellen & Jo. I love Ash but the others are meh. Good strong women but as it is I cant get past Jo being Meg from VM and I hated Meg. I started with VM back when the first season was just released, end of 2005 maybe? So that's over a year of knowing her as Meg. She's imbrained as Meg, not Jo, and Meg wasn't that great IMO... But as a series it's still going strong. I just wish they'd left it as purely 'the Winchesters'(much to the detriment of Jensen & Jared's social lives) not 'the Winchesters and other hunters'.

Oooh. I'll have to go check those out!

You guys get the Sci-Fi channel, right? If yes, then it probably will make it over soon.

I felt exactly the same way you did. All these new characters took away from the camaraderie of Sam & Dean. And same thing about Jo. You know she was suppose to be Dean's love interest? Dean only likes strong, capable women and she looks and acts like a child. Plus Jo=Meg and Meg=yuck.

Thankfully, the fandom was in an uproar about the new characters and especially Jo. And Kripke being the genius that he is, actually listened. The series gets better again after episode six :) I won't tell you what happens but nearly all of the complaints were resolved. *sigh* That's why I love this fandom!

I love that we pretty much mostly agree on everything that's important i.e. Heroes, Lost, House, SPN!

Sadly I don't have cable. But Eureka could still make it to our regular screen... hopefully!

So you feel the same? Thank God. I've kept away from sites and most posts in the fandom (didn't want to be spoied) but what I did read seemed rather appreciative. So I was worried everyone else may have been fond of these newbies. Glad to see that's not the case and glad that Kripke has listened and fixed it (Which is very rare for an Exec Producer - Kripke rocks!).

Yeah I could see they were trying to go down the road of a Dean/Jo pairing. Very very very glad to hear that it seems our beloved Dean doesn't end up with her. You took the words from my mouth, she does act like a child partic in the last ep I saw (she was being a petulant little brat). I actually nearly mentioned this above but thought my Jo hate may come on a tad strong (and I didn't have a clue if she was loved or not). As it is she's best summed up in your equation above. Jo=Meg & Meg=yuck!

Ok thanks for the boost. I still have 5 or so eps to watch but was put off, I missed our Sam/Dean camaraderie and was getting a little sick of Jo & Ellen. I'll get back into the disks tonight!
