I do hope you continue this - there isn't near enough good SGU fan fic!

Sorry to have missed you comment - thank you!

I don't know when I will finish it up, but I feel I will, because it just nags at me, this little snippet . . .

Glad to hear it :) I've now watched all of SGU - was there any particular point in the series when this was supposed to have happened?

I wrote the first two parts (Give Me Your Hand, That Ends the Night) during the break in the first season (after "Justice" aired in Dec. of 2009 and before "Space" in April of 2010"), so they were set in some undefined time after Rush had been left on the planet, but after he somehow gets back (I assumed he would get back, but of course didn't yet know how!).

[In fact, Give Me Your Hand was written for a Valentine's Day fic challenge - it posted on Feb. 13, 2010, the day before Valentine's Day, which is the day it is in the fic itself, as well .]

So now, of course, they are rather AU.

I'm glad you seen all of SGU - the second season is really marvelous! I SO want to write a "waking up from the stasis pods" fic.

I loved Twin Destinies, as may be apparent since I'm writing a fic about it, but I was kind of disappointed that at the end of Gauntlet Young still didn't trust Rush and Rush didn't seem to care if Young died. It kind of made me not care that the show was cancelled, since it seemed like they were never going to make any progress with that relationship. I thought overall the show was kind of hit or miss, but I obviously like it well enough. Anyway, I'm always super happy to see good Y/R fic. There isn't nearly enough, and I think a lot of the people who were writing it have stopped.
