I'm suffering from time and temperature dislocation. I'll recover from the time change but my toes and nose are cold!
Had to stop for a quick snooze at Chieveley Services on the way home because I couldn't keep my eyes open which isn't a particularly safe way to drive!
We got to Heathrow and BAA, in their wisdom, had locked the door from the gate into the airport. For security reasons. 'Welcome to the UK everyone!' And the guy was saying 'Don't blame me, blame BAA, this isn't my job' in a marvellous denial of any responsibility. I love the 'service culture' we live in.
I've discovered I can fly out to Dallas for £330 in March and then hire a car to drive down to their place for not much. And I've flown 25000+ miles with American this year so am now a gold member and can get upgrades = yay for business class :-). Movie choices, wine choices, menu choices and biiiiig seats.
Tomorrow I have to do worky work and study. Tonight I shall curl up and watch trashy movies and sleeeep!
