The Homework from HELL!!!!!
ok, so today was my "homework" day, get everything that could be done in a reasonable amount of time done
Read 1.5 books = DONE!!!!
Mint Julep by Nita Clarke is read and I hope to God she doesn't publish Day 3 before class ends...or else I will die from trying to get through more tales of misadventure and childbearing/rearing. I felt like I was reading Forest Gump. Every famous person from The Civil War to The First Kentucky Derby is present somehow in this book. Even the infamous Doc Holliday, dentist by day, vigilante by night makes an appearance to take care of the main female characters toothache. One of the girls falls in love with Henri Marqui, the famous Frenchman that explored the Mississippi River, and Merriweather Lewis (Lewis and Clark) comes to visit the lovely ladies from the French quarter in New Orleans before heading out to explore the west.
Learn the 7 Articles and 27 Amendments to the Constitution = In Process
This is gonna take a bit more time...I know the7 articles, its the 27 amendments I have trouble with...My teacher said to memorize them by date, I cannot do that, I know them when I know them and its just easier for me to remember them as 1-27 rather than 1800's-1997...
*sigh* Oh well...I'll use my upbeat attitude from this week to fuel me into being a study bug this weekend.
