Woohoo!
The Daily Show made fun of Obama for promising (metaphorically, of course) better weather. But literally, at least here in San Francisco, it worked! With Obama's win came beautiful clear blue skies. The kind that make me happy :)
Good job America, I'm proud of you!
Of course with a step forward, we always seem to take a step back. Half of my friends list is blogging about how disappointed they are in Californians for allowing Prop 8 to pass. I'm almost too shocked and amazed to be disappointed by it myself. Almost. I don't really know else to say about it. Baby steps, I guess.
Oh, and we didn't get the George W. Bush Sewage Plant either, but that's not exactly a life-changing issue. Would've been cool, though.
So I'll try not to focus on the bad stuff just yet and be happy for awhile with our new President!
