(no subject)
so i´m in my new apartment...using the internet, which is way too slow, but free/included in my already relatively cheap rent, so i can´t do too much complaining. so far i love love love the place...it has everything i need without having too much space for me to fuck up. the location is not as central as i was originally looking for, but i discovered the transportation is even better than i thought it was and it´s a safe, but still chill/not an overly boring neighborhood and actually really close to all 5 of the friends i have here haha. the guy i´m living with is oldish, which i know sounds sketch, but he seems super chill and like we could actually be friends.
other than that, i´ve been trying to keep myself entertained...hanging with the gringos friday night, soccer game on saturday...got tear gassed for the first time. i definitely felt like i had been living in chile too long without that happening, so it was an experience. on sunday i had lunch with the ex-host family. i hadn´t seen them since i came back here (over a year ago!), but it was super chill/hopefully now that i´m basically they´re neighbor we´ll keep in touch better.
my morning class tomorrow got cancelled..it´s good cuz that means i won´t have to wake up early, but bad because this is the 3rd class that´s cancelled since last week and it means less money for me at the end of the month. according to my calculations, i was actually gonna make decent money, but now i don´t know. and last month i ended up making way less than expected too...well, we´ll see. i hate worrying about money.
