Needa favor
My poor sweet Mattie will be working 20 EXTRA hours this week...so this means I will see even less of him than I already do, and I know I will miss him terribly. It just feels not right in this house with him gone. But we could use the money (esp. since I am trying to catch up on 3 years worth of missed dental work = $$$) and he will get time-and-a-half pay for the extra hours, which is an opportunity he couldn't turn down. So we are both sucking it up.
Carter Jacob is all over the place these days. Well, every which way but forwards, I should say. He can maneuver backwards in a cute little scoot, his round baby butt sticking up in the air as he tries to navigate the livingroom floor. He is also capable of going round in circles, rolling from back to front and front to back, sitting up...everything but crawling forward!
It is almost scary though, because I can't leave him alone for a second or I am just sure I will hear a big CRASH! BOOM! BANG! WAAAAAAAH! I know this will only get a 100X worse when he is actually up on two feet, trying to get his chubby little hands on everything. Being a momma is hard because you just love them so much and worry about them so much, and you know that if anything happened to them - even if it were an accident - that it would be totally YOUR fault.
But I must say that things are going damn good for us. I am feeling healthy, strong, happy, and fulfilled. And so so SO excited for our wedding this summer. I even had a dream about it last night, but for some reason I was freaking out in the dream because I was wearing this stupid frilly dress with a peach-colored ribbon and my hair was blonde. Don't worry, unless a bottle of bleach falls on my head, I will never be blonde.
So, I have a question for y'all before I go... Does anyone have a flair for operating a video camera? And I mean, more than just keeping one steady... are you somewhat artistically gifted as far as zooming in at the right places, etc. ?? It is really important to me that I have a wonderful video of my wedding day, ceremony AND reception, but it costs about a grand to hire a professional. And I know I have some very artsy friends, so any of you ever done anything like that before? Of course we would be willing to compensate for your services, but nothing too extreme because this is a budget sort of wedding we got goin on.
Trey, aren't you pretty handy with a video camera?
I would appreciate SOOO MUCH it if someone was willing to do this for us...get back to me soon to put my mind at ease!
