Her eyes caught a box of munitions across the room; were those grenades? What a great idea.

I laughed at loud at this. It made me think of the rocket launcher, which is one of my favorite Buffy moments ever. A little bit of pre-Becoming Buffy peeking out.

You really sold me on the connection between these two, and I love Alonna giving Buffy some much-needed support and tenderness. Great story!
