i love this. it feels like such a logical extension of their relationship in the film -- how their kiss is such an Oh my God, we almost just died thing and how being physical is cathartic for them.
(tangentially, i've seen it said that the kiss wasn't earned/didn't have any buildup but MAN, I DISAGREE. most of the time i'd find that kind of thing forced, but it felt like such a thing of immediate terrified need that i believed in it so much. and i believe in it here, too, where things have calmed down but they still need that relief.)
I, too, disagree strenuously. First of all, it's a hero's kiss--oh, you saved me! let me reward you with my tongue--which by itself is AWESOME because, in this case, Claire is the hero. Secondly, what you said is DEAD ON.
TLDR: They are perfect and I love them and I will, in all likelihood, never stop writing about them.
