I love what you did with this! Dawn's POV in many ways less troubling than Faith's - she's living it in the now, while Faith was looking at patterns. But it shows how they connect so hard in the moment, how essential Faith is to this, and some of the phrases ("birdbone chest") just sing. Also? Hot. :)
