Buffy/Faith is SO my OTP. Buffy/Faith is almost impossible to make fluffy and believable.

And yet I love the Buffy/Faith fluff.

And, obviously, I love you. Buffy and Faith are both awesome in this, with the dressing up and the scary movie and the CAKE OMG. You are so awesome. *makes you cupcakes*

Dude, seriously. It's like B/S: you can't make it fluffy and not reminiscent of brain malfunction. If being with someone is difficult for you, if it makes you feel dirtywrong -- which, come on, I love B/F, too, but you know Buffy would have issues because omigod, Faith's a girl! and wait. omigod, it's FAITH -- then you don't write their name on your notebook surrounded with cartoon hearts. Unless, you know, the brain malfunction . . .

I had a point. Which was. Oh! Thank you so much for the very kind feedback; I am thrilled and relieved that you liked this, because you are one of the gold standards of femslash, and I, frankly, thought this story blew. So thank you, and I'm glad you liked my attempt at B/F fluff.

Yep, it is very difficult to make fluffy Buffy/Faith not sound... brain malfunctiony. Which is why you rock like a rocking thing! I love the bits of angst sprinkles along with the fluffy icing in this story.

Ahhh, this is all so good, but the starting with baking and ending with baking full circle just made me SO happy. This is so cute. You managed to be true to both of their insecurities, a little bit of how their might be awkwardness in the relationship, and yet still make it absolutely fluffy and sweet. Wonderful!
