I love this story. I'm sorry, I have no coherent feedback right now (uh, do I ever?) because I'm just so excited to have read a new Lamia story! Two FANTASTIC B/A stories by you in one month (okay, almost one month)?! I AM IN HEAVEN.

Completely random but I told marenfic the other day when I was ranking the top five IWRY fics from this year, yours was numero uno. Like, possibly #1 for all three years good.

This is so wonderful. Your second season Buffy is overwhelmingly perfect. I can HEAR her. And, oh, how I miss her. And Angel. And tottering right on the edge of innocence. Lovely.

What an unexpected pleasure! Great Scoobie dialog, especially Xander's non too subtle feelings about Angel. And I love the Angel/Buffy relationship here. You're not afraid to show that Buffy is really young here, but the scene where Angel talks about his childhood and his sister makes it clear exactly what he sees in her and why he loves her so.

And Buffy guilting Giles at the end was too perfect.

Thank you! I actually kind of had fun writing this one -- aside from the deadline and the stress -- because, I've realized, most of the B/A I've written for the past . . . long while . . . is post-"NFA," and it was fun to visit everybody in S2.
