HOLA
.....so i just got in from laying on the deck, i thought it was a pretty appropriate time to come in since our very mexican pool workers got here to you know, work on the pool. the pool should finally be filled with some liquid on sunday, but who knows if that will actually happen.
i actually have a day off today which is oh so glorious. but next week i managed to get wednesday, friday and saturday off, how amazing is that?
just bought the new jack johnson cd, highly recommend it. i especially enjoy the song about banana pancakes. oh speaking of mr. johnson, i just purchased my ticket for his concert in detroit on august 31st. a few others from porto bello shall be attending as well, but if anyone else wants to go, that would be grand. i believe its in a park, if that makes any difference.
so i've got a couple of options for next year's living arrangements. i can live with these 2 guys and a girl or these 2 girls and possibly find another roommate. really i can't decide between the two. they both are really cool and both appartments are on the 2 floor, which ironically our friend meagan lynn killips will also reside next year, couldn't be more perfect, other than if the whole hubbard crew decided to transfer to waters edge.
the camping adventure is easily the most exciting thing in my life right now, i can hardly wait, it's been way too long. i need weekly doses of you crazy kids and now we are working on a month or so, it's rough. although erik is going to be my neighbor next week which should be pretty sweet. so that being said, my house is open to anyone who wants to journey down, across or over to make a visit.
can't wait till we all join forces once again!
p.s. i'd like to give a shout out to meg's poem in her profile, it captures a lot from this school year in a very "elegant" way, hats off to you...
