I'm back at my desk, dealing with the conversations that distract me, because I've been evicted from the conference room. The admissions office finds it imperative to have 2 juniors answer questions from newly admitted (future) freshman. Apparently, this cannot happen in a classroom. Or the lunch room. Or the library that has been closed all afternoon because of the visiting (future) freshmen.
On the up side, my desk has two electrical outlets, and I have a tri-tap in one of them.
