(no subject)
this is the month of productivity. starting tomorrow, i will begin the first of three impending jobs. i'm not sure how my schedule is working with this, but if i'm lucky, i can finally afford to buy beer with my debit card as opposed to my credit card and maybe a cool dress i saw on the internet.
right now it's snowing very hard outside and i am drinking a bottle of malbec from funky llama, which i bought because it was in the chilean/argentinean wine section at dominicks and i thought it sounded exotic/better than a box of franzia. my hopes are that with this new job, i will know ahead of time which wines are worthwhile and maybe not buy $4 wines and hope that this time will be different. it never is.
february is very cold. i think it was fate that made my birthday in february so i can feel worse and worse each year i get older because it's freezing outside and everything is unhappy. also, i foresee the development of wrinkles coming very soon. not only is the empire crumbling, but that global warming o-zone shit is really taking a toll on me. on the plus side, i don't have to pay for tanning (another amenity i've pulled off my list along with skiing in aspen and going to the mall).
