Well here I am again. Things here have been good. Busy as usual. Taylissa has been doing very well, she is an amazing baby. The only time she cries is when she is hungry or has a burp. Occasionally when she has dirty pants too but that is about it. She is starting to sleep more throughout the night thank God for that! As it is every summer, we have been on the go. Demo derbys (no we don't take Taylissa, I'm not that stupid), races (again no I'm not that dumb), family reunions ect. plus now we have Tay's doctor appointments on top of mine, and we are trying to get another used goods shop up and going before the 7th. Brad and I will be working there 3 days a week to earn a little extra cash. That will be nice! It will be nice when Tayla's little butt gets bigger so she can use cloth diapers and save a few pennies there as well. Everything we earn from the shop and save from using cloth diapers is going in her savings. I don't want money to be an issue for her in her future as it has been for me. I don't want her to be a snotty spoiled brat either though. O well I guess I'm just trying to be a good mom. She is starting to respond so much more to different things. Today I was talking to her and she started "talking" back and smiling. Man it was adorable. I just wanted to pick her up and give her a huge squeeze. So anyway, Brad had a nice surprise for me when I woke up this morning. He had gotten me a laptop for an early birthday present. He totally blew me away and spent to much money on me. I still can't believe he did it! I love it. He also got me an MP3 player. Yea, Bradley, you just wait until Christmas. You just wait... Thank you hunny...I def. don't deserve something this nice. Lets see, what else shall I update on. Tay had a doctor appointment on the 25th and she was 21 3/4 inches long and weighed 7lbs 14oz. The doctor thinks she should be gaining a little more than this so we are to go back in 2 weeks for another check up. If she hasn't gained much I'm not sure what they will do. She is eating a ton, shes just a very small baby. She also got her 2 month shots. That nearly made me cry watching her lay there getting poked. Broke my heart. Then she went right to sleep and slept for a good 4 hours. I'm telling you, she's a good baby.
So this weekend my brother gets married. FUN! Ah, not. I guess I'm a little shallow about it, call me selfish. My brother and I used to be super close and he didn't ask me to be ANY part of his wedding. My biggest brother gets married next year as well and he too informed me I wasn't going to be in his wedding either. Nor will his only bilogical neice. You could say the whole situation has me very upset. They invited me to go to the bridal shower, bachlorette party and rehersal dinner but...why would I want to go when I have no part in any of the event? I guess I mainly just don't go because it pisses me off to even be around the situation. Oh well, what can you do when they are both with girls that run the whole show. God for bid my brothers have a say in anything, but they are the pussies that won't step up and speak out so I guess that is their deal. Go ahead..call me shallow. So, lately we have been looking into life insurance policies. Man if that ain't a royal drag. We wouldn't worry about it if we didn't have Taylissa, but we want to make sure she is taken care of in every aspect.
Not much else is going on, just running here and there. Getting the things done that need to be done...well for the most part. My house is trashed but that's ok. Such is the life of being parents. I just looked at the clock and realized what time it is, so I think its time for me to crash. I will try to keep better updated. I love you Bradley and Taylissa!
