Just to update you all very quickly. I started to have some problems last Friday with not feeling well so I called the O.B doctor and went in to be checked. When I got to the hospital at like 2 am they hooked me up and told me I was having contractions. They took my blood pressure, it was like 170/102...way to high. Then they took my blood and my platelets were way to low. Something with my liver. GREEEEEAT. They put me on bed rest and just watched things. Sunday rolled around and they were going to do an amnio to test her lungs but they couldn't find a spot free from cord. Monday they found a spot so I had the amnio done. Very painful I must say. Her lungs were beyond mature. They have to be 55 or higher to be delivered early and hers were 120. That was all we needed to take her early. Tuesday morning at 6:30 they took me downstairs to the O.R and Taylissa KaeLyn Roggie was born at 7:56 am on May 22. She was 5 pounds 1 oz. and 19 inches long. Tiny little girl but healthy as can be. I saw her and my world flipped. Man she is amazing. What a beautiful little girl. Brad and I are home now but Tayla has to stay for a few days to gain a little more weight. Doc said thats normal for premies. Anyway, that is my update.
