After such a massive self-induced exclusions from our original line-up, the Blues have made 5 changes. Richard Hadley is expected to miss two weeks, and Joe Anderson has been omitted, thus they join the likes of Betts, Garlett and Cloke on the outs list this week. There seems a touch of irony that, in the last match of the home and away season, Cloke finds himself suspended by the club when, at the start of it, he was on the other end of a confrontation which saw Setanta suspended by the club.
The inclusions this week are Dennis Armfield (who was a late withdrawal last week) Steven Browne, Shaun Hampson, Chris Johnson and Chris Yarran. Considering most everyone, Carlton and opposition supporters alike, have a terrible habit of mistaking Chris Yarran for Eddie Betts, Eddie's absence may well go unnoticed. Indeed, I won't be surprised if there are more shouts of "Eddie" every time Yarran goes near the footy.
The final line up looks as such:
Backs Aaron Joseph Bret Thornton Paul Bower Half backs Jordan Russell Chris Johnson Simon Wiggins Centreline Kade Simpson Bryce Gibbs Marc Murphy Half forwards Ryan Houlihan Andrew Walker Andrew Carrazzo Forwards Setanta O’hAilpin Brendan Fevola Chris Yarran Followers Matthew Kreuzer Chris Judd Nick Stevens Interchange Dennis Armfield Steven Browne Shaun Hampson Heath Scotland Emergencies Adam Bentick Brad Fisher Sam Jacobs
