Goal!!!!!

So, today I was feeling the effects of working so hard yesterday, so I hardly did anything. Just an hour of latin, and I really shouldn't have done anything, given how bad I feel. But I just have to keep working, if I want to be done everything. Not much else of excitement today, just rested. I did watch some of The Masters. Only the most exciting golf tournament of the year. Rumor has it that one of the announcers even woke up at one point. Not really, as it was rain delayed for quite a while. But I do enjoy watching golf on t.v. It's slow, calming, and beautiful to look at some of the courses. Of course, it does take quite a while. Figure 3 hours each on 4 days which =12 hours for one game. I must be nuts about long things. Not that I watch all of these things, but I tune in if I'm resting at that time. Fun game golf, but always the subject of a debate as to whether it's a sport or not. What do you think?

And speaking (well, writing actually) of watching sports on tv, I watched a football (what we call soccer here in the US) game on tv. ESPN2 shows about 1-2 English soccer games a month. This one was Chelsea Vs. Arsenal, at Arsenal. It was a huge, huge, game in Britain, and was conveniently carried live. Now my father is a big Arsenal fan (as he live right there) and has season tickets to all the games, so I was trying to watch for him in the crowd, but couldn't find him. It felt kind of weird to be watching something that he was at, at the same time as him, but a ocean away, and even with a different sky (day vs. night). It was quite fun, and a really good game, although Arsenal lost, which was a huge upset and had my dad really upset. I sometimes wonder why no one cares about soccer in the U.S. After all, it is the word's sport. I think it's the most popular sport of every country in the world really, besides the U.S. (Football?), Canada (Hockey, and Curling which is fun to watch but no one knows about it here), and Japan (Baseball). Goalllllll?
