Happy New Year!
So I haven't posted on livejournal in MONTHS!!!! I have considered for sometime now that I wanted to make my last post since I never really use this but to read others journals and I figured since things are so great now that It would be a good idea to post what I've been up to. For starters I have been dating someone for months his name is Thom he is 25 a high school biology teacher and he is really cute, super smart, passionate, funny and sweet (he brings me flowers to work all the time and all the girls at work are jealous). I met him working for the Las Vegas Outreach team and we had the perfect first date, we spent hours together on our first date. I went back home with him last month to meet his family and his mom loves me and so does his sister who just happens to be a recruiter for abercrombie and fitch (40% off yo!!!!!) and she is just as smart as Thom and sooo funny!!!! Her boyfriend is also a teacher and a super nice guy!
So Thom and I live together now and we have an opera singing roommate who I adore but sometimes I can't stand her! Thom met her in college and these last couple of months I have met most of the music department at UNLV. Ummm what else?? I bar-tend at PF Changs now and I dont' know how I feel about that because the money isn't that different but its less work. School is great, I'm going to school for hotel management and I'm actually really good at it and the professor really likes me. I have also stopped talking to my mom, we made my being gay an issue and to make a long story short she chose to lock me out of her life. I'm ok with it, I don't want to say that I'm alright with not having a family but I can't make her love me and I'm not going to. Things are great, I'm very lucky to have Thom, his family and amazing friends who I can tell anything to without feeling guilty or judged. I love my life and I know that things aren't always going to be this great but I'm ready for whatever comes my way.
