yay! yo tengo un computador!
we're finished with the whole "moving" part of moving in but theres still boxes everywhere.. i live so far away from everything. it sucks. i cant afford the gas.. it takes like 20 minutes to get to work.. gay
padre is soon so thats cool
i dont think im going to dallas for fathers day so im likely to hear a world of shit and guilt from my dad..
oh well
i have to go...
im wearing nothing but a towel. but my urge to update my livejournal and check my email/myspace/facebook took over the urge to actually get dressed
ah but first i have a rant:
ok so at HEB they're MAKING us sell "wow" items and if we dont offer them to the customer they get whatever it is free. example: if i, the checker, dont say "can i interest you in our wow item today. we have candy on sale for 99 cents adn if you buy three you get the fourth one free" (which by the way is the GAYEST thing EVER to have to say on top of having to greet them, converse with them, actually check out their groceries and then take their money..and fast)
anyways, thats the deal i have to say that now. well i havent been saying that because i just dont give a fuck and i know that customers dont know about it yet so no one's going to care. well last night at like 11 pm some guy comes in and asks for tobaccco so i go allllllll the way over and get it for him. he writes a fucking check which is already annoying and then i give him a receipt and ask him to get the fuck out. theeeeeeeeeen he goes "maam now that our transaction is over. can i ask u a question........since you didnt offer me that candy that means i get it free right?"
and i was sooo annoyed. he already had one all freaking picked out and everything.. what a retard! he was all sneaky about it too. i know he had to grab it while i was over there getting his stupid tobacco.. and then he held up my line while i tried to figure out how to give him his stupid free candy.
my question is this: is free stuff really that appealing to people? i mean sure its great if something is just free but going out of your way like that seems a bit drastic.. and making someone else go out of their way.
its like he was just fucking with me on purpose

that man was an asshole and i hope that every single one of those mini 100 grand candy bars tasted like mini pieces of shit
