irony

Last night I decided I really wasn't in the mood for sleep and I did the dishes, put away decorations, played with my new decor, and read more of my book. I opend it at chapter two, the part about charlie experiencing his sixteenth birthday and christmas of that year. This is great because I'm reading the book to remember being sixteen and I read the part about christmas while I was winding down from festivities. The irony helped me relate to the book a lot more than the first time I read it, like I was meant to pretend I'm 16 and read perks.

My mom bought me a "money tree" for christmas and I won a total of $70 dollars in lottery tickets from xmas then another fifty earlier today when I got two new bingo scratch offs from the winnings. Sweet! But I'm scared that in my care this plant will die and ill incidentally become bankrupt.

I told my parents a little about mike and all my dad asked was, "is he black?" coincidentally I told my about my familys racist tendencies today, his family shares the same wonderful views. Also, as we walked into max and ermas I talked about how amazing alex is and our old friday date nights at ermas when we worked at abees and who is sitting in the booth as I walk in the door? Alex's little sister!

I'm now going to take my tree apart and forget christmas existed.
