summer nights
My parents' house has bats living in the upper most corner of the roof, borrowing into the insulation, and coincidentally, my bed is now positioned right under that point. Thus I discovered that bats sound really neat in close range, but I have yet to see one.
I've been watching Smallville on DVD for the past few hours under the impression it was the 3rd season and asking myself, "Have I seen this already?" Turns out I had been playing the 1st season for 4 hours without realizing it, similar boxes.
Today I waited on a nice family for brunch, super sweet parents with an older daughter about my age and a little girl. I realized when they were talking to the little girl that her name was Larkin. How dumb is that? The mom kept calling her Larky, that sucks for her when she gets into middle school.
I worked my second to last brunch today, I'm excited and sad, anxiety is a tricky emotion.
I've also been reading the 6th Harry Potter for the last week and started considering frequent trips to the library with my AP reading list from high school. All of this due to my lack of lifestyle in the wonderful Crafton Heights. I'm awkward around my parents and I'm not working much, I haven't been more ready to make the BIG move.
