So, Nightwish fired Tarja.
I always thought Nightwish IS Tarja, but obviously not. Never really cared, though, as I never really liked her voice.
It's so... hm.. artificial... and she doesn't really feel into the songs.
But that's just a humble opinion of someone who just knows a few things.
But this just by the way.
The concert yesterday was nice.
Exit Inside's self-announced "Alternative Pussy Rock" is not as bad as I had suspected, but it's not my cup of tea either.
The guys with the instruments know well how to use them.
The singer can sing. (He needs to work a bit on his breathing technique, though, to keep the longer notes clean.)
But all in all no reason to go into raptures.
Stake, on the other hand, do really rock.
We're so unworthy to share the bandroom with them!!
;)
Yeah, and they know how to push high the spirits in the audience.
Good mood music.
They were just a bit too loud for the litte stage of Café Kreuzberg.
So the evening was a success, and I shall not forget to mention that I was invited for a cola.
By the guy who runs the sound studio next to our bandroom.
:)
We talked a bit until he had to go and fetch a friend from a birthday party.
I think I talked quite a bunch of chaotic crap, as shortly before I had figured what a tasty beer Flensburger Pilsener is..
*lol*
Must have been intelligible enough, though, to make him wanna know more of.. well, guess whom...
The Generator, exactly.
*gg*
But then, well, maybe he just said so.
Human beings are still a big mystery to me.
