Sunday Synopsis: 8/20/12 - 8/26/12

Show: Warehouse 13
Episode Title: No Pain, No Gain
Airdate: 8/20/12
Summary: Pete and Myka go to Toronto to investigate a hockey player with super healing abilities just after she learns that her sister is pregnant. Meanwhile, Mrs. Frederick calls Claudia to a mysterious meeting.
Best Quote: "He's naked in there, and besides, I already checked his chain." - Myka Bering in regards to a suspect (she then blushed and swatted Pete for laughing)
Most Riveting Scene: Mrs. Frederick showing Claudia the “birth of an artifact” at the robbery. Claudia looked so grown-up and responsible and I think the experience really affected her as did the reminder that she could one day be like Mrs. Frederick.
Best Pairing Moment: Pete’s awkward explanation as to why he wished Myka were pregnant. Even though sometimes I feel they are better off as friends, he did make a good point about the two of them being the only people who can truly share each other’s lives and the whole scene was really sweet.
Show: White Collar
Episode Title: Identity Crisis
Airdate: 8/21/12
Summary: Mozzie discovers clues to a treasure he is convinced were left by a spy ring.
Best Quote: “Our government has endorsed a cornucopia of questionable programs: Stargate, MK-Ultra, the space shuttle?” - Mozzie, on his most current conspiracy kick
Most Riveting Scene: Mozzie showing Neal the shadow puppets he had made as a kid of what he hoped his parents were like. This scene really humanized Mozzie in ways the show has never pulled off before and his moment of breakdown when the story was over was perfectly timed.
Best Pairing Moment: This episode wasn’t particularly shippy although Peter’s willingness to go along with Mozzie’s claims, just because Neal asked him to, could be construed that way.
Show: Covert Affairs
Episode Title: Hello Stranger
Airdate: 8/21/12
Summary: Annie goes off the rails on an assignment to turn a Yemeni aide into an asset while he is in the country for three hours while the prime minister undergoes surgery.
Best Quote: “Only a fool mistakes fate for destiny. Fate is what happens to us. Destiny is what we do in spite of that fate.” - Annie Walker to a possible asset, afraid of his own potential
Most Riveting Scene: Auggie showing his therapist what it’s like to cross the street for a blind person. How much she struggled with it as well as the fact that it was his idea to begin with are both very telling about what he goes through on a daily basis and what he’s been going through lately.
Best Pairing Moment: “Best” doesn’t always mean good as in Joan and Arthur’s confrontation regarding him acting as though he’s “already out the door” for the Chinese ambassadorship even though he doesn’t actually yet have the job. Things aren’t looking good on the Campbell marriage front.
Show: Pretty Little Liars
Episode Title: Single Fright Female
Airdate: 8/21/12
Summary: CeCe reveals to Spencer that Paige may have known Allison a bit more intimately than she had previously let on, Aria tracks down Ezra’s ex-girlfriend and Emily refuses to believe Paige could have anything to do with A.
Best Quote: “You and I were learning fractions when this kid was born.” - Aria Montgomery in regards to her boyfriend’s seven-year-old son neither of them knew existed
Most Riveting Scene: The snake. The snake. The idea that A has access to them anywhere has been reinforced time and time again but a poisonous snake in a dressing room with a locked door is particularly terrifying.
Best Pairing Moment: Caleb and Hanna making out in the dressing room. These two deserve a real chance!
Show: Royal Pains
Episode Title: Who’s Your Daddy
Airdate: 8/22/12
Summary: Hank has difficulty convincing an ill polo player to give up the sport. Evan panics over meeting Paige's family, and Divya tries dating again.
Best Quote: “Her dad used to be a General. Our dad used to be in the general population, Henry.” - Evan Lawson in regards to his father meeting his future father-in-law
Most Riveting Scene: Paige watching the news with Evan as they learn for the first time about her father’s alleged affair and cover-up. We rarely see Paige really breakdown and her doubts about her somewhat dysfunctional but loving family were major cracks in her usual armor.
Best Pairing Moment: I don’t know yet how I feel about Divya and Rafa but it’s about time she had a hot man falling all over her. Let’s just hope he’s the good guy she really needs.
Show: Suits
Episode Title: High Noon
Airdate: 8/23/12
Summary: Daniel is elected managing partner after Louis votes for him and suddenly Jessica and Harvey are relegated to second-class citizens in the Pearson-Hardman offices.
Best Quote: “Your stoned is depressing. Never share your feelings ever again.” - Mike Ross to his uncharacteristically stoned boss
Most Riveting Scene: Most riveting meets most hilarious - Harvey and Mike commiserating over a joint, the very thing they fight about more often than not. And Mike barely keeping Harvey from beating the crap out of Louis? Perfection.
Best Pairing Moment: Mike kissing Rachel in the file room. It was so spontaneous and unlike their usual cautious, reserved, frustrating dance and even though it was both short-lived and ill-fated, it was quite refreshing.
