So when I planned on writing this I was actually in a decent mood. But, that mood passed rather quickly. Anyways, I have an abundance of things to write about from this weekend. Thursday night I went out and got my dress for the Governor's Ball for convention. I ended up getting the very last dress I tried on. It was like fate or something. Well, it was obviously something. Anyways, my mother and I went over to Target afterwards and I ended up getting my prom shoes and a clutch that matches perfectly. It was great. I felt accomplished.
So, funny story, depending on your humor I guess. Thursday night I was really overwhelmed by packing for D-Con and I was having trouble sleeping. I ended up going to bed around 10 o'clock and still not completely packed. So, I set my alarm to 5:45 like every week day. Anyways, I was woken up by what I thought I believed to be my alarm clock. I use the alarm clock on my phone so I have to manually go into my phone and turn it off, and I did so. I hopped into the shower, got dressed, ate my breakfast, and went upstairs to finish packing before I had to get to school. I glance at the clock on my phone and it reads: 11:45 p.m. And I'm thinking...wow, someone must of messed with my phone while I was in the shower or something. So I turned my television on to check the real time and it reads : 11:45 p.m.
WTF!?! I felt like the stupidest person in the entire universe. I'm not exactly sure how I woke up. Or what sound woke me up. (I'm almost sure I got a text and while asleep I mistakened it as my alarm) So I went to bed with wet hair and feeling really stupid.
Great awesome.
So anyways, I woke up at 6 and turned on the news...............THERE WAS A 2 HOUR DELAY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How could there possibly be a 2 hour delay when I had jean and a long sleeve shirt on the other day and was a little heated while being outside. That is so bizzare. So Hannah and I were trying to figure things out because, we had somewhere to be and we were the people that everyone kept asking for information on what to do. So as soon as I was okay and settled down about the 2 hour delay, Dr. Hoffman decided to give everyone a snowday. Yes, this is what I call something ridiculous. Anyways, we ended up leaving for The Nevele around 12 a.m.
The ride was nice and snug. We took what Cherry calls "The Cheese Bus" ( I will tell you who Cherry is within the next few paragraphs of this entry) We got to the Nevele and waited for an emense about of time.
So after we waited for our "stuff" we headed up to our rooms and found out that Hannah would not being staying with us :[
That was probably the biggest bummer of the whole weekend. Anyways, I have a great feat of elevators so Ms O and I took the stairs. Oh, what an adventure that was....and
I have to wash my face right now. So I'm cutting this entry REALLY REALLY SHORT.
On a cliff hanger....everyone loves a cliff hanger.
peace.
