I was idly clicking forward on my work schedule program at work to see if my approved vacation time had been officially loaded in, when I noticed the breaks starting next week were just :10 instead of :15.
At first I thought it was bad copy-paste error, but later I found out "No, it's for real."
Turns out Alorica just does 10 minute breaks and to make sure everybody is in line nationwide, now we do too.
They checked legal: Federal and Arizona State labor law does not have a legally mandated minimum break *length.*
My #2 break takes me 15 minutes if the nearest restroom isn't in the middle of being cleaned.
I know, I know, this isn't a big-ass hurricane, but I've found it's lots of stupid little things happening all the time, not one or two big things that happen every once in a while, that make life cool or make life suck.
