My Weekend
It is freezing in our house!! Sitting on the computer is not helping.
I had a wonderful weekend. I was busy at work on Saturday but I didn't care because Ben and I had a reserved room at the Best Western in Green Bay. :>
I came home from work at around 4, we got our bags, turned down the thermostat, fed the fish, and we were out the door. We first got there and checked in. We layed on the bed watching "cable" tv for awhile. I guess I do kind of miss having cable. Then we went to "Marty's Boston Crab" (I got a $20 gift card from work for having perfect attendance). We sat at the bar for about a half hour before dinner. Ben had a Lemon Martini, and I had a Strawberry Margirita. Very good. Finally we sat down and looked at the menu. I'm not a big seafood fan so I looked some poultry entree's but then decided that this is a seafood restaurant so I had to try something. I just didn't want to de-shell anything. I ordered the Lazy Mans Lobster for $35 a plate!! Ben had the Stuffed Flounder Special. We then got our plates... I didn't like my 35 dollar entree so Ben made me try the Flounder.. which I loved. So we switched plates. Ben loves lobster so he was fine with our switch. It was very good though with excellent service.
After dinner we went back to the hotel and got in the hot tub and relaxed the rest of the night. I fell a sleep around 12 and Ben was up until 1 watching The WaterBoy.
In the morning we got up and had our complimentary breakfast, took showers, packed up and left. We went to the Baypark Square Mall and did some Christmas Shopping. I only have Derrick and Jehna left to shop for but I know what I am getting Jehna. So Derrick I need some ideas for small gifts for you.
We got home to a really cold house, made some supper and relaxed some more watching non-cable tv. And today I have off to wrap all the presents I got. It sure feels good to be close to done with all that.
