Today is our last full day in Maui. Tomorrow we're leaving for the airport probably around 3 PM Hawaii time (6 hours behind eastern). We won't be arriving back in Thunder Bay until just after 6:00 PM EST, so that's approximately 21 hours from door to door. Argh!

But other than travel venting, Hawaii has been great! We've definitely had a chance to relax, as well as do some cool stuff. Maui is just awesome, and our hotel is pretty sweet too. I definitely prefer Maui to Oahu (Honolulu). It's nice there, but it's really just a big city. Staying in Honolulu was almost like staying in Toronto, with an ocean across the street. Not that I don't like Toronto.. I do! But Maui feels way more like a tropical vacation.

I'm just looking through some brochures to decide what we should do today. We may drive the Hana road, but I'm not sure. I know we'll go down to the beach at some point, although I don't know if we'll go swimming today. Also, I have a ton of laundry to do. I want to wash and pack all our clothes so when we get home, they'll be wrinkled but clean. I don't fancy having to do loads upon loads of laundry as soon as we return.

Also, my digital camera broke while we were at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. DAMN! We had to take all our Pearl Harbour pictures with a funsaver. Blast and confound it! The point of this story is that we picked up a nice Sony digicam at the Walmart in Kahalui. It's kind of Dan's birthday present. His birthday is tomorrow actually. Poor guy will be spending the vast majority of his birthday celebrations on a plane. Ah well.

Anyway, I'd best go back to our room. We need to figure out our day!

Aloha!
