first update from romania
Well guys I'm here. A longish journey with 2 flights and a 5 hour train journey, nearly a week later and I'm updating. So much has happened but I can't be long. Thanks for the post reply pete! And to randon texts from livvy and midnight phone calls from stevie! all very much appreciated in a very hard working week xo
been doing building work all week, and yesterday a football tournament outreach which lasted about 4 hours. we (girls) served unlinited supplies of free juice and tracts. it was good. in fact, you are all going to sample romanian juice when i get back!!!! but today is our day off, and we're heading to the festival in the citadel for the stalls, fruit pies and icecream (or so im told). went out for dinner 2 nights in a row these last 2 days, and its all great.
the kids especially are amazing. they just love and take to you immediately. i have photos but they havent been uploaded yet, but they will be :) also got exam results, which was stressful but good once we got them - on the building site at the well!!!! think the people we got the water from thought i was a bit screwed up when i started jumping around as did rosslyn!!! good times.
well, i have to go now, but im missing you all incredibly!!! so much. especially bible study and prayer n fire. but im having a good time here. and its worth it.
ps. the town we are working in is Tigmandru!!! we're not Brazil we're Tigmandru!! aw sorry u didn't win guys!!
