So now Snape has hijacked my brain. I both loath and love him. He's the most difficult muse I've ever written for. His actions and dialogue aren't so hard, but I've never had one be so demanding about the prose. He picks on my sentences, ridicules my verb choice, and forces me to reach for a Thesaurus, which I almost never need to do. It's like having my own personal English professor. To top it off he's moody...well, Snape right.
I've had the plans to write Severus Snape and the Last Years for almost a decade now, so it's good to finally get it off my to do pile. But ugh. I wish my brain would behave.
Anyway, he has given me some beautiful sentences, and I really enjoy the young Snape scenes...as an 8 to 13 year old he's so adorkable. I have the first
three Chapters up here on Fanfiction.net.
I'm having trouble getting into a good routine...hoping that'll change once my nephew is in school with a regular M-F schedule in August. Need to get stuff done before August. >_>
Good news for the day is that Imbeni will be employed again once the background check goes through. YAY!
