There is a saying, 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself'. I think that is very wise. Of course, everyone has fears and yours are perfectly normal. No-one wants to lose someone they love, no-one wants to be abondonned or deceived. Those are certainly not irrational fears.

Fear is such a negative thing. I have a young cousin who I think the world of. I often mention her in my journal, though she is studying in Spain now so I won't see her for a long time, which saddens me so very much. She has been taught by her parents to be cautious and to be careful and not to trust situations. While, on the face of it, this is good advice, it has to be used with a bit of common sense. My cousin is now so fearful of the world that she imagines a theif in every doorway, a terrorist on every bus, plane and train, an assailant around every corner. She is so paranoid about all the bad things that might happen that she doesn't see all the good things, the adventures, the excitement that life can bring. I try to get her to put it all into perspective but it is hard and it is certainly not my role to tell her what she should do. All I can do is try to get her to live a little. It is the fear that she has been made aware of that is stopping her experiencing life in a wonderful world. She is, as I said earlier, afraid of fear itself.

I'm sure, again as I've said before, that the right thing will come along for you. You just have to recognise it for what it is. I don't want this to sound in any way patronising but you are young and you have a lot of time, the things you want out of life will come for you. :))) When I came back from New Zealand and finished my book, I needed to get a job. I had no idea what I wanted to do or even what I could do, but I managed to fall into what I'm doing now and I really enjoy it. It may not last but for now, I'm happy. That is worth a lot. :))

Quite agree with you. Having fears is absolutely normal think, moreover, I'm not if there exist a person on the whole earth who doesn't have any fear. I think fear is one of that things that make us really alive and human.

I quite understand your cousine bescouse i was so often told to be cautios that I've became sometimes too careful, thought I have absolutely different character. It is such overdone! Fear can forbid us to live at all, we just should not allow it. You are so helpful that you try to help her with that problem.

Thank you so much for these words. Thought you don't like it to sounds patronising, I like if it is in some way. I like that you aare quite wise and much more experienced than me, so it could be so helpful and pleasant to hear from you. I hope the right think will come not very late) Search can be quite fun but if it lasts forever...well, that can be really dissapointing sometimes.

By the way, It just cam e to my mind...I 'm not suire if I know what education do you have and what jobs have you experienced before you get the right one. Is that connected with your education?

I think it's best if I answer your questions about my education and the jobs I have done in an email. I owe you one anyway! :))
