I was asked for many times about russian music - becouse I also consider that probably some of you haven't any idea about our culture and especcially music. As well as we have here some really good and soulful catching songs and bands and singers. Just Ok...Let me introduce you some of them. With a bit of pre-hystories concerning this music.

If you're interested what does it mean- russian rock - go here) )

Oh wow, I get an honourable mention! Very proud :))

As before, dear, I will have to wait until I get home this evening to hear the ones I haven't already heard - and I'm intrigued and looking forward to it.

I finally got to listen to all of these links. Sadly, I didn't like most of the music. It is more in sound of America's modern rock music which I'm not very fond of. It is a very soft sounding rock. I did enjoy hearing the songs though and some of the videos were gorgeous. :)

Thats sad but OK) I quite understand what you say and that's just becouse I prefer soft rock and there is much more good russian soft rock music than really heavy music.)But I can think about some of heavy bands for you)))))

OOOO I really like Catharsis and Epidemia. I think here Korol i Shut would fall under some form of metal. FOr now though I think I need to find me some Catharsis and Epidemia.

And you are so right at calling the Biopsychos weird.. that is some very weird music.

Well I just thought that you would like Catharsis and Epidemia.
What's about Biopshychos - yes it is very weird but I don't know why it's very catching)

There are several bands like that, weird but I like them, as well. Green Jello comes to mind when I think of that sort of music though they aren't as techno-ish. Another pretty weird band is the Gorillaz. I guess we all get sucked in sometimes by catchy strange music.

Yes it is. Well Idon't think Gorillaz is quite weird, I like that music much.
But you're right there are some very odd bands that I listen to, and I just wonder why I listen to that, it is so blow-minding, haha))))))) I will listen to that music you recommended as I get home. I am at my work now :P
