Oh dear. Obviously I can't make any decisions for you, and I can't really even advise you on what would be best for you. But I can give you some information and my feelings about some things.

To start with, Carmarthenshire is in Wales, in the very west of Wales. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmarthenshire It is a very rural county, no cities. Also, for many people living there, English isn't their first language. Most people in that part of Wales speak Welsh. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_language

And Burry Port is in the south of the county of Carmarthenshire. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burry_Port I have never been there, so I don't know exactly what it's like. Perhaps later on I could go there and take photos for you!

To give you an idea, it's about two and a half hours drive from where I live in Somerset, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somerset the other side of the Bristol Channel.

As I say, I can't make the decision for you but, very often in my long experience, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. But I don't want to cloud your judgement either. They may be perfectly genuine, give you a real home away from home and allow you as much freedom as you need. I really can't tell. Of course, I can understand why they would choose you, because you are so nice!

As I said to you the other day, I don't know what the visa restrictions are for you or whether you can easily get a UK work permit. I don't know whether they would get one for you more easily or not. The British immigration service must have a website that you can go to to find more information.

To me, your second option seems very sensible, but it does delay you going out into the world and exploring it for yourself.

Your third option, ironically, probably gives you more chance to travel once you have a job and a committment within Russia. But you are then limited to short trips.

I don't know what to suggest, it is all very difficult and every option has its merits and its shortcomings. I wish I could help you more and make it easier for you. But this is one thing I can't do that with. Of course, I would be delighted if you ended up in the UK and even more pleased if it was within easy distance of where I live. But your considerations should be more practical than just that and your safety and security and knowing that what you are going to do is what you want to do must come first. I would love it if it was the UK, but it must be right for you.

There, some advice, some information, but sadly only more things for you to think about. As I say, I wish I could help more but only you can make the right choice for you. I hope this helps. :))

Thank you for your detailed and informative comment , it is really helpfull.
What'S about that family , thought I haven't much experience I can understand that when it's too good it can be not true. I was told by family and close people that it can be something wrong with it and it can be dangerous not only to my money and time, but Also to my life.maybe I'm too naive but I still hope that they are fair as I try to be and as I want them to be.
today I visited one agency that helps with that programm in our country. I have all that is needed ,exept driver license but I'm going to attend driver course in a week. Unfortunately russian participants can't be allowed in uk what means that there is definitely something wrong with that letter. AS an english-speaking person I can expect only the NETherlands, but with driver license also USA and Canada. moreover thought I know French not bad and started to learn german as well, but I think it's not fluent enough. I will work on it so in that case I will be able to search families from france and Germany if The process won'T be quick.
I know that Britain visa isn't an easy thing to get ,becouse of many denies of appliments. But I hope I can get it soon. now it's just A hard time in my life when I need to decide what to do.
I know that my future job will help me to do all that things I want to finally,I'm sure I can get it. But how long time will it get ? I just feel now that I need to see the world, now and not delaying it. don't know ,maybe it's intuition, but that feeling is very strong.
anyway, thank you for you advice and support! You really help me and made me more confident of what I do.and once again it's such A pity that I haven't much opportunity to travel to Britain as I'm eagerly willing that.I hope when my life became more clear and simple I will do that! or I 'll have a chance one day,who knows.

I sincerely hope so too. :))

One thing I will say (and I understand this is purely hypothetical) is that if it was possible for you to get a visa to come to UK and you did go to that family, and it wasn't what you expected and hoped for, you would only have to contact me and I would be there in a few hours to 'rescue' you! So, whatever happens in the end, it is always nice to know that you have some help and support wherever you are. I think that is always comforting and reassuring. You know I would help in any way I could.

If all you need to get is your driving licence to get a similar job in Russia, that is at least a hopeful situation for you. I know it wouldn't be travelling as you want to do it, and I understand why you would want to do that as much and as soon as you can (you know I am a traveller by nature too!) but it would give you a way of earning money to save for future travels (including the UK) and would get you to a part of the country that would interest you (maybe even Spb).

I have to admit, I have a very deep love of The Netherlands and Dutch people. In fact my Dutch friends are staying with me right now. And it would be a really interesting country for you to spend time in. What's more, because it's a small country, there are lots of other places you could visit from there in your spare time (if you were to go there of course) and many other countries are only a couple of hours away from almost anywhere in The Netherlands - Germany, Denmark,Luembourg, Belgium, France, and even the UK.

I suppose all of this goes to say that you have time on your side (even if you don't quite see it that way now) and will have many opportunities to travel to all the places you want to visit. You are talented with language and you have so many things to your advantage. I know I sound really old saying this, but the world is there for you to do all the things you want. They may not always be easy but they are possible. All those things will come along when it is right for them to - I'm a great believer in that. All you have to do is recognise them for what they are. There, my wise words!

I know you will get to UK, I know we will meet up sooner rather than later and have a lot of good times together and I will enjoy all of that very much. I know we will enjoy each other's company and a few bottles of good red wine and veggie food! It will happen, because it must happen! Take care. :)))

Oh that's sooo nice to hear! It is always so rousing and thank you so much your help is the best thing I think that I would wait for in that case (and in any case ;)))) ) Of course if I accept that job I will hope that nothing bad happens to me. I will be waiting to see you, anyway and I hope not only the bad treat can be a reason to meet. :)))))))))
By the way, I sent a email to you just a few minutes ago. I hope I wrote your email right couse I don't remeber now)

I need that driver license in any way, I consider it to be such a useful thing! Becouse if I want to get the similar job in many other english-speaking countries ( that is important for me!)))) like USA and Canada I need a lisence. If I stay in the city for some time or move inside the country it would be better in any way to have the driver lisence and skills. moreover, just for life - it is much easier with the car (of course I nead to earn some money for that haha))) in our city and I think in Russia at all. Becouse you know how enormous the distances sometimes are and the transportation system is not always very good and convenient.

I want also to earn some money to travel in future, that's right. But all that programms give possibility to travel, work, earn some money, meet people and learn much about another countries with longer terms and much cheaper. One important thing is that they allow to travel in such way only people who hasn't turned 29-30 years. So I have to hurry if I want it to do ever in my life.

I always wanted to visit Netherlands and this is very nice variant. But I have another fear - becouse of its small size, won't it be less suggestions and opportunity to get a job...

I don't know why but I often have such sences that I haven't much time to do all what want so I should hurry up, think about everything immediately (untill probably my head explodes lol))) and for the best i should have it all right now ;)))))))))))I know it is the wrong way to think and in the back of my mind I agree with you. Anyway I appreciate muuch your words, this is true wisdom.

OK, so I will be sure about it to) I believe in that so it will happen! It must happen!

I'm glad to help. :))

Netherlands may not be a very large country but it still has about 14 million people, so the opportunities there wouldn't be so small. It's a cool place too. :))

You got my email address right and I've replied. And I'm really happy that we could make that connection too! :)))

Another consideration.....Australia or New Zealand? They are English speaking and I know a lot of Russians go there to work and even to settle. Just a thought. Mind you, if you were to go to New Zealand I would be very jealous! :))))

I hope Netherlands do need an au-pair worker)))) Or I will wait untill I get my driver license to apply for more variants.
I have applied for both New Zealand and Australia. In agency they didn't suggest me that opportunity, I should figure it out later.
I read your mail and answered it! I'm happy too
