An update

Well, a lot has been going on with me. The main thing - I'm having a baby! I am due November 22. I can hardly wait. It is so exciting!.. and nerve-wrecking... So many emotions have been going through me. When I first saw the test, it was shock. I even took the test the the window to make sure I was seeing that second pink line. I was. The next day, I took a second test, and of course the results were the same. Then I was scared to tell Chris. Not really scared, I guess, just nervous. I wasn't sure how he was going to take it considering we thought we weren't going to start a family for another year or two. After a few minutes of shock, he started to calm down and get a grip on the situation. He slowly adapted. He really got excited after we got the news out to his family. That was our big hurdle.

I am now 11 weeks along, and we have another doctor's appt on Thursday. We might get to listen to the heartbeat!!! I shall give a full report!
