Minecraft and Buildings
Its a random note, but I recently (as in like two or so months) discovered the game known as Minecraft. And since then I have fell in love with it. Before my computer broke (I ma using a laptop till the main one gets fixed) I played it as much as I could. Now, I am designing buildings and bases in preparation for when I can play it again.
The idea of entering into a untapped and unknown world with nothing and building everything and getting everything from scratch, well it calls to me.
One of the things I want to build (amongst the idea of a floating wizards tower and forest base) is a massive underground city. Maybe using the idea of Myst and the D'ni, but also Moria from Lord of the Rings, intersperced with some unique ideas that I came up with on my own. I cannot do it as I don't have a server, and it seems like a multiplayer job, but it sounds epic and it sounds like something I want to do.
So yeah, one of these days I want to building a gigantic underground city with houses and lanes and rivers and lakes and buildings of a thousand different natures. It will happen, it will be fun, and it will be made of win.
