The Philippines and Brazil country offices of the World Food Programme treated the Philippine delegation to lunch at Esquina Mineira, a restaurant that serves a buffet of food from Minas Gerais.
The waiter gave a shot of alcoholic jabuticaba, a kind of berry, even before I had any food. My eyes started spinning in opposite directions like in cartoons. It wasn't the best idea to drink some for lunch.
Caramels - good stuff. Thanks to Tanya for introducing me to them.
And here's the requisite food shot. It was delicious! The meats were tender, and the food wasn't salty. The restaurant was also pretty. I'd go back, if it weren't so difficult to find. Haha!
