I'm bloggin.. yes, I am bloggin..why? cuz I feel like it and I have time so, whatever. I guess I wont quit LJ.. one of the only ways I can keep up with some of ya's!
Oh, here's something cool.. I was baptized again this past Sunday. It was great.. something I really needed to do. I thank God so much for understanding.
Oh, here's some interesting news, my brother Jason lives here now and is going to SCC like me. We have Music Appreciation together! ha! we both got kinda bored wednesday night cuz, we understood unlike lots of ppl in there.
I'm almost done w/my 3rd week of school. 19 hours.. heck yes. I'm gonna work in the Judgement House out there again, AND I'm gonna try out for the play.. Beauty and the Beast.. I think it'd be fun.. be like, a lil spoon singing in the background or somethin..
Went to ShoutFest at Heartland Sunday afternoon.. fun fun! (sunday was just fun all day!) I saw so many people that I havent seen in awhile. but, Grits and Disciple were my favorite. YES, rap/hiphop and rock. BUT, there was this group called Fresh Digress.. they performed on the stage that was to the side of the main stage.. they were performing in between sets so there would be entertainment while the main stage was being set up for the next band. Anyways, they were a hiphop group, and they were actually really good! they were a white guy, Chris MC, and a black guy, Reality, and I really enjoyed them. They were biblical and fun... AND, they had a song called "Princess" that they wrote just for girls.. it was about how girls are supposed to be treated and how guys should treat girls the way God commands.. I mean, I want to marry them.. haha.. It gives me hope cuz it shows me there ARE guys who get it...
So, I wrote to Chris MC to ask about that song and just try to enocourage them and he wrote me back the next day!! and, he forward my email to Reality and he wrote me back. Who wants to try and help me find a place to bring these guys for a concert!?? ha... j/k.. unless anyone has an idea.. and it dont matter if it's not the right kind of music, they are such a blessing and so fun to watch.
ok.. I was gonna quit LJ now I've typed a novel.. One more thing before I go... who wants to go to Six Flags in October??? probably like, the 22nd. Allison J has this buy one get one free tickets and they are good for up to 6 ppl and she has like 20, so we have a billion tickets. if you want to go, dont matter where ya live, let me know!! it's gonna be so fun.
anyways, FINALLY done. even if I'm feeling down at the moment, God is so wonderful
