Little Drummer Boy
Here's today's canvas, featuring the toy soldier blueprint stamp on yet another different colored background, albeit colored with the same technique as the previous 2. Perhaps it's the livery, but this toy soldier always makes me think of those soldiers you see in marching bands, particularly the drummers with their drums suspended across their front, hence the title of this post.
Something a little different, yet of a similar theme as the other 2. I know I did say in yesterday's post that I would show the other snowman canvas, but today when I was looking at it, I realized that the set of 3, for me, is really the tree, snowman and today's soldier. And so, I promise, you'll get to see the other snowman tomorrow.
Having now tried all 3 different metallic stains, as well as all the blueprint stamps, my verdict on them is... ... You've gotta have them all! No kidding. Each addition to the stash just adds to the many different combinations of colours and images that you can have on your projects.
