The Muesum and Apnea

Note to self:  when staying in mixed dorm hostels, bring ear plugs.  Boys from central Europe seem to snore a whole hell of a lot more than the boys I'm used to.

After a not terrible night's sleep, we rose refreshed, and headed off to the Tate Modern, part of yesterday's plan.

As always, it was lovely.

We had sandwiches in a park for lunch and decided to hit some more museums.

It was a beautiful day, and seemed like everyone was walking along the Thames Path.  I'd missed the Millenium Bridge the last time I was there, it was fun to walk across.

We spent many hours at the Natural History Museum, which was incredible.  They have a collection they've been working on for quite a while, and it's impressive.

Since the Science Museum was right next door, we hopped over and toured their exhibits.
Not nearly as cool as the History Museum.

After a dinner of a pint and fish and chips (which left me most unsatisfied and fueled a need to find the Best Fish And Chips In London) we went back to the Science Museum where the London Stitch n Bitch was meeting.  yay, knitters!  Although I was exhausted by this point it was still a good time.  The museum was open after hours for the 20 something crowd.  They served beer and wine.  There was music playing and hundreds of hipsters milling about.  Why don't the museums in the US do this?!!??

I had to pack it in early, though, and get some sleep.

We were back at the hostel, me with recently purchased ear plugs, and i was in bed by 10:00.
