They talk a big talk, but are really just a pair of scaredy-cats
The boys went for their annual check up yesterday.
They did very well (and were only slightly traumatized but the strange environment, weird smells and presence of DOG). Sal got a clean bill of health, and only had to suffer one shot. Wilson got out of a shot, but did have to endure a colon scrape (translation: finger up the ass) to check out his loose and STANKY poos.
All was in order. A dollop of yogurt a day was prescribed, which I think will prove to be very enjoyed.
The one bit of bad news? Wilson has a couple of teeth that have become infected and need to be pulled. Apparently this particular infection is quite normal for cats, and there was not much to prevent it, and it's a relatively easy fix... but this will mean minor outpatient surgery.
