setting up for the break out
i have finished my financial aide for the university of hawaii. that doesn't necessarily mean i have been accepted to that school, but if i do (cross your fingers for me) i'll at least know how it will be paid for!
i have a french test tonight. the first one of the semester. i have the faith i will dominate it's face! i plan on getting an A in this class. i will settle for nothing less. now as for my german class... i am willing to settle for a B in that one! i told my mom what books i have to read for it, (one play and one novel) and she laughed and said good luck. great. that's helpful and makes me feel MUCH better. not nervous at all, no sir. i still haven't even gotten my books yet for it... i did order them online, they just haven't gotten to me yet. with each passing day they are not here i get more and more stressed out!
i am super excited about next week, ST PATRICK'S DAY!!!! yay! i still haven't figured out all the things i plan on making... but rest assured that soda bread is definitely on the menu! nate has made some ciders and some stouts, but we're not sure the stouts will be ready in time. i took the day off work (well, i swapped it with jasmine) so i could spend the day cooking... and of course having a beverage or two!
