Why hello poor, neglected LJ
I had planned on posting sooner but then LJ went down and I went to Singapore, so I'm only now getting around to organising a tonne of stuff. Most importantly, in October I'm flying to the US to meet desertport and hang out at wincon, and there seems to be a neverending list of stuff I need to book/research/apply for/freak out about! *g* This will hopefully help me keep track.
- Submit my last three years of tax returns *gulp*
- Dental visit to pull my troublesome tooth Done, with the help of valium and nitrous oxide, wheee!
- Book flights to/from the US (PER-AKL-SFO-MSY, SFO-AKL-PER)
- Buy travel insurance
- Apply for the Visa Waiver Program into the US
- Register for wincon - paypal is being temperamental and won't let me pay. Will try again later. Done!
- Book wincon hotel Done, but I need to change some details. The extra day I'm staying that's not covered by the con rate is making it impossible to amend the booking online.
- Book flight from New Orleans to Portland - still! I get errors every time. :(
- Book a hotel in San Francisco
- Book flights back to Singapore in November for a cousin's wedding
- Figure out a way to break it to my boss that I'll be back at work for a week and a half after my big trip before flying out again... oops. Easier than I expected. :)
