(no subject)
Sooo it's been a little while since I posted anything. And since then I have learned the following:
1. I should not get a kitten. Not now, not in this apartment. No matter how precious it may seem on the classified ad kittens demand much more attention than their grown up versions let on. I miss Toby.
2. I am going to be better about staying in the loop with my family.
3. Remember that my family, though they get on to me for not calling enough, can also call me.
4. My dream job is not all it was cracked up to be, but I do not have to stay there or in this career. I am still learning and I can still change my mind.
5. In the meantime, I will fulfill my contract at GSD&M for one year. I don't like my job, but I do enjoy doing it well. So I will keep trying to do my best for as long as I am committed to be there.
6. I love living alone. I enjoy that my apartment feels like me and that I feel at home in it.
7. I need to go to sleep now, because I have a have a habit of unconsciously turning my alarm off in the morning when I do not get enough sleep. This makes it difficult to get out of here by 8:47....not 8:48....8:50 is right out.
