2nd Annual Bold Strokes Author Bash, Nottingham, UK
For any Brits who might have accidentally tripped over this site, the 2nd Annual Bold Strokes Author fandango is being held this weekend at the Waterstones bookshop in Nottingham.
The event will kick off at 3pm on the Saturday with a panel on romance/erotica (if you spot the Northerner stumbling over her words, that'll be me!) followed by a panel entitled Worlds We Want to Explore and a general Q&A. After that it's off to the Lord Roberts gay pub for a Meet & Mingle.
Sunday morning (11.30am-1pm) will see a Publishing and Sneak Peeks panel where the publishing process will be discussed and authors will be reading from upcoming works. This panel is sponsored by Starbucks who will be providing coffee and nibbles! Lunch after that will be at the New Foresters lesbian pub.
The authors attending the event are Jane Fletcher, Rebecca S. Buck, Justine Saracen, Gill McKnight, Stacia Seaman, Lesley Davis, I Beacham and me ;-)
As far as I know, just tip up if you're in the neighbourhood. Books will be on sale throughout the weekend (not mine of course, but I do have some lovely, shiny bookmarks!) and the authors will be on hand to sign them.
