The Doohickeys - Part One
This is Part One of my attempt at the pixel_trade Group Uglification Challenge.
Well, here we go...
Meet Patience Doohickey. Pretty, ain't she? You can thank brilliantcat for that.
The first thing she does after moving in (apart from the birdwatching) is to hire a butler. I guess she thinks she's somebody.
Next up she has a quiet word with the local seer.
Patience: Hello. I hear you can find me the man of my dreams.
Well sadly for Patience, the man of her dreams costs a little more than the 182 simoleans she had to spare.
Gypsy: I see dark things in your future, child. There will be many ugly babies...
And here he is, Patience's match. Why, it's none other than strange_tomato 's Vali Beaker!
Patience: Hello! Would you like to sit on the sidewalk with me?
Vali: Sure!
Well, that looks... fascinating.
Patience: I like to kiss!
Whatever happened to taking things slow on the first date?
Vali: I like aeroplanes!
Now that's more like it...
And here we have Patience watching Vali on the toilet. I'm not sure what's more creepy, the fact that she's watching him or the fact that he seems to like it...
I leave them to their own devices for a while. An abundance of romantic interactions ensues. They actually make a pretty cute couple when they're not being all creepy-stalkerish.
Patience: My boyfriend just smooched me... I think I'll clean the window!
She does constantly. I turn my back for a second and before I know it she's cleaning windows. It's kinda creepy. But then so is her bathroom fetish...
Before long it's time to tie the knot. The butler decided to watch, but it looks like he got bored halfway through...
I was actually a little surprised they didn't try to do this in the bathroom instead...
Patience: I don't feel so good. Must be something I ate.
Patience: Maybe I should lie down. I'm feeling kinda tired. And hungry. All I seem to feel these days is tired and hungry. I wonder why?
Patience: Oh! My stomach just got bigger! Does this mean I'm pregnant? All the signs were there, but for some reason I still look extremely shocked!
So Patience spent her days bonding with her belly, and Vali spent his stealthily avoiding my camera. I swear he's like a ninja...
Patience: Oh look! I'm still pregnant!
Her back hurts so much that she can't clean the windows. This makes Patience sad. I think she feels like her life no longer has meaning...
And here comes baby!
Patience: Vali don't you dare touch me again! Ever!
And this is Chivalry Doohickey. Looks like he got daddy's colouring. Hopefully the same goes for facial features...
Haha! I managed to sneak up on Vali during a moment of weakness! So here we have an adorable moment of father-son bonding. It can't last forever though, babies have to grow up eventually.
And here we have Chivalry post-transition. Looks like he got at least some of Vali's features. Possible heir? We shall see...
Because while Vali and Chivalry were eating cake and being merry, Patience was discovering (in the exact same spot as last time) that another sproglet was on the way...
Well that's all for today I'm afraid. There should hopefully be another update within the next few days... hopefully.
