Best Places to Sit and Ponder

May 26, 2008 20:06

As promised, here is my list of my favorite places to sit (or stand) and ponder in the greater Boston area. There may be more to come and they are in no particular order (you will notice a water theme):

-The docks at the Esplanade
-The Longfellow Bridge (the one the redline goes over)
-The rocks at Spy Pond (this is in Arlington and the closest body of water to my house)
-Walden Pond
-Lake Waban (at Wellesley)
-The bench at Watertower Park (also in Arlington, but way up on a hill so when you sit on this bench, you can see the entire Boston and Cambridge skyline perfectly. It is also great at night when all the buildings are lit up)
-The indoor garden at the Isabella Stewart Gardiner Museum
-Under a tree in Harvard Yard
