Another fun *cough* *cough* day at St.Christophers Oncoloy Unit
So whoppdiedoo haha (new word) I got my counts checked yesterday and my counts are at their lowest. So that meant today I would need to come in for 2 units of blood and platelettes. And I know from 2 years this is an all day project.
So, when I woke up this morning I felt pretty shitty, I crawled out of bed and looked in the mirror and the right side of my lip was swolen, from the uslers that are all over my mouth. Now this was strange cuz its never happened before and the usler was realy big so watever. We get to the hospital and it was PACKED! Thursday Morning is a clinic day, I wasnt really suprised, but it was a little more packed than usual. But since I have 0 counts I got to go right into a room which rocked.
So they said my lip was fine, and it started going away acually with the premedication for my blood and platelettes (benadryl) so to make a long story short. I got the two units of blood and HUGE bag of plateletts cuz my platelettes were VERY low today. and I feel like SOOOOOOOOO much more better. haha
I found an old CD in the car one the way home n i was all singin haha thats how good i felt compared to this morning. haha
So right now im gonna go watch TV. Extreme Makeovers on tonight haha I love that show haha and Im gonna start thinkin bout stuff I want for christmas haha ;) its never too early to start.....haha
