(no subject)
I am subbing again.. when else do I update? I'm at an elementary school, though, which is definitely strange. I have only been doing middle and high school the last few weeks, and now I'm with 4th graders. I am loving it so far. I miss this age group!
Not much else is going on. I went to Jake's basketball game on Friday and they lost their district championship. He was pretty upset, but they played a really good game. On Saturday, we went to Eli's parents house to chill out, play some darts, and watch Curb Your Enthusiasm, easily one of my favorite shows. We went back to my house and went to see Sideways. What a great movie! I loved it! It made me wanna get a bottle of wine, and I hate wine. It had that kind of effect on me.
Other than that, just been working.
I did have an interesting run-in with a student last week. He is in sixth grade and came back to the classroom after being in the office. He began drawing on his face, so I went over to him and asked him to stop. He responded with, "Why don't you make me?" then began walking away. He turned around and pointed his fingers at me and said, "Make me, old lady!"
I about busted up laughing. I never realized I was that old!
