the sims 2 legacy - the tubbs family: part 1
this is mr & mrs tanja and james tubbs. :) they have just moved in to desiderata valley and are both unemployed. tanja went to college and got herself a teaching degree, and is currently looking for work in that field; whilst james went to college and got himself a law degree, and is also currently looking for work in his field of preference.
tanja was in the kitchen making lunch when the doorbell rang. apparently some people arrived to welcome her and james to the neighbourhood!
ooh look, it's their next-door-neighbor, david jareth! :) (isn't he a handsome devil? a sim i previously played with).
tanja and david hit it off quite well, spending time together playing catch and laughing at one another's jokes. james gets pretty annoyed with david being so chummy with his wife, so he comes over and shows david who is boss!
david tries to smooth things over with james by admiring him, but james wants no part of it.
to quell james' emotions, tanja comes over and plants a big fat juicy one on him; but is she really being all that faithful??
it was a long day full of lots of surprises. tanja and james enjoyed meeting david and making friends with him (despite james' jealousy over tanja and david's friendliness). tanja, however, seemed to have made herself an enemy of their neighbour travis, who attacked her twice on their first meeting. :(
tanja decided some late night sandwiches would make her feel better. nice jammies! :3
both tanja and james did some job hunting the next morning, as their household savings was down to $7.00 and they couldn't afford to pay their bills. neither of them had much luck, unfortunately, and it was really getting tanja down. :(
going for days without money, and having expenses hanging over her head, sent tanja into a spiral of depression.
james also felt quite moody, and couldn't focus on his cooking. he burned their spaghetti a number of times. :( :(
in order to lift their spirits a little, tanja proposes that her and james get down to a little bit o' hanky panky - what a great way to brighten ones mood! :P lol!

as if by some miracle, the two of them find work in the paper the very next day!! (ie. woohoo is the cure for everything! >:3)
tanja's first day at work, as a teacher's aid. :)
james' first day at work, doing whatever it is that law-like people do. :P
after a long hard day at work, tanja and james cuddle up to one another and discuss their future. now that they are both employed in potentially well paying jobs, tanja really wants children - as does james - and so they decide to give it a shot.
they're so cute together. <3 :)
after a nice romp in the sack (otherwise known as "try for a baby")
the next day, david and his daughter, delilah, show up to keep tanja and james some company. :) (ignore the random man who rudely walked into my shot)
david manages to bust james' computer. this makes james very sad. :( and so he asks him to leave. he and tanja have work very soon anyway.
whilst the two of them were out at work, david showed up again sans delilah. this is becoming a really bad habit of his. it was storming outside and somehow the tubbs' telescope was struck by lightning and set on fire! :O
david happens to be stalking walking by and completely panics! once the fire is put out, however, he then leaves. :)
tanja arrives home from work and, within minutes of stepping out of the carpool, discovers she is pregnant. as is, apparently, her co-worker. how delightful.
the two of them decided to stand around and gossip in the storm (silly twats), and as a result, tanja caught on fire after their telescope was struck by lightning again. D: that can't be good for the baby!!
shortly afterward, james comes home and prepares dinner. it was such a long and exciting day for tanja - what with discovering she was pregnant and having caught on fire - that she promptly falls asleep in her plate of spaghetti. oh dear. D:
james is feeling kind of left out of the whole pregnancy experience, and so he decides he wants to adopt a puppy. :)
everyone, meet virginia. :D (i keep writing "vagina" D:)
james absolutely adores her. <3 <3 <3 (how cute!)
as does tanja! :)
and ooh look! tanja is now in her second trimester of her pregnancy.
one morning, whilst lolling in the garden, tanja meets one of her other neighbours - hans. hans was abducted by aliens and impregnated. D: the poor fellow. he is also in the second trimester of his pregnancy. D: the baby will be green, just like its daddy. (*_______*);;
within moments of meeting hans, the labor pains begin. uh oh!!
james freaks out and stands by helplessly as tanja moans and groans in agony.
ooh look, another family member is on the way!
everyone, meet agnita. :3 the tubbs' baby girl. <3
hans is very happy for tanja and james and offers his congratulations. :)
the next day tanja hires a nanny for agnita and goes back to work - after all, the household needs two incomes at the very least to function. in the mean time, james developes an enthusiasm for stargazing and david continues to stalk the tubbs' residence when none of them are home. creepy-ass bastard. lol!
